FAQ

Human Sessions

Most people describe the work as gentle, warm and deeply settling. You may feel soft pressure, slow unwinding or a sense of your body letting go layer by layer. Because I work with fascia, breath and the nervous system—not against them—the session stays comfortable and supportive. Nothing is pushed or forced; your body guides the pace.

No — I don’t do deep tissue in the “push through the pain” sense. I’ve never believed in leaving anyone feeling bruised, battered or sore for days afterward, and I never will. My work is guided, responsive and respectful of the body. It can be firm when needed, but never forceful, and always aimed at helping your system release — not endure.

Comfortable, loose clothing is ideal. If direct contact is needed for specific techniques, draping is always used and we discuss everything beforehand.

My work blends the foundations of remedial massage and myotherapy with the intuitive, connective-tissue approaches I’ve grown into over the years. The focus is on releasing restriction, supporting your nervous system, and helping your body realign without strain.

Yes, absolutely! The work is designed to support your whole system — fascia, breath, vagus nerve, emotional holding patterns and energetic congestion — gently realigning you toward clarity and ease.

No. I no longer work within the private health fund system. My focus is on true, client-led wellbeing rather than meeting insurance or association requirements. Most people who come to me prefer a more empowered, responsibility-based approach to their health, and this work fits that path far better than the old rebate model.

FAQ

Dog + Pet Sessions

Mostly dogs, but I also support cats, horses and other companion animals when appropriate.

I observe movement, posture and emotional cues. Then I use gentle myofascial and nervous-system techniques to release tension, increase comfort and help your animal settle into balance.

For acute injuries or diagnosed conditions, yes — vet approval is required. For general wellness, stress, aging or mobility support, no approval is needed.

Absolutely. Many anxious dogs relax quickly once they feel safe, slow-paced touch and steady presence.

Absolutely. Your presence helps most animals relax, especially on the initial visit.

I support the body and emotions, which can certainly influence behaviour, but I do not replace a qualified trainer or animal behaviourist.

FAQ

Combo Sessions

You and your dog are supported within one shared appointment. I work with whichever of you needs attention first, gently alternating so both of you settle into more ease and coherence.

Humans and animals are often energetically linked — supporting both in the same session can shift the whole household into a calmer, more harmonious state.

FAQ

Remote Sessions

We meet via live chat. Whether it’s a remote human session, animal session or a clear space session, the work is guided, present and tailored to what you or your animal need in the moment.

Yes. Animals tend to respond extremely well to remote sessions. Without the stimulation of travel or a new environment, they stay calmer and more regulated in their own space.
Working at a distance also removes the usual interruptions that happen when a guardian is present — questions, movement, or emotional signalling — which allows me to stay fully focused on the animal’s patterns, shifts and responses.
This creates a cleaner connection and often leads to clearer insights, smoother emotional release, and more precise support.

A quiet space where you won't be disturbed, your phone or laptop, and if working with your pet, a comfortable area where they can settle.

FAQ

After Your Session

Most people feel lighter, clearer and more grounded. Occasionally you may feel tired as your system recalibrates — this is normal.

Common signs include deeper sleep, softer movement, drinking more water, or subtle shifts in behaviour as their system rebalances.

Gentle movement, hydration, and quiet time if possible. For animals, keep activity light for the next 24 hours.

That depends on your needs. Many clients come monthly, while others schedule weekly or fortnightly when supporting recovery or deeper change.

FAQ

Tools, Techniques + Requests

I’m happy to share general insights from my own experience and from supporting many animals over the years. I don’t prescribe diets or supplement plans, so anything specific is best discussed with your vet or a qualified (animal) practitioner. My focus is on balance, comfort and wellbeing alongside whatever choices you make.

Absolutely. Your presence helps most animals relax.

My main tools are my hands — intentional myofascial work, intuitive pressure, and techniques that help the nervous system settle and release. When it supports the session, I may also use cold laser, photonic red light, tuning forks, Healy frequencies or subtle vibration work. These are woven in thoughtfully and only when they enhance your comfort, ease and overall alignment.

Yes. Your preferences shape the whole session. Just let me know.

Yes — these are woven into my work when they support the session. I use them thoughtfully and intentionally, choosing what aligns with your system or your animal on the day. If you ever prefer a scent-free or purely hands-on session, just let me know. Otherwise, these tools form a natural part of how I support balance and deeper release.
